About Us
Event Leftovers was created by event professionals from the nonprofit community who were consistently frustrated with all the waste we witnessed in the event industry. Inevitably, after each event, we would be left with perfectly good items that just sat in our offices, homes or storage units taking up valuable space. We decided it was time to create a viable "green" solution for all this excess, which conversely would help us recoup some of our event costs. We also realized this would create a secondary market for us as event planners to find the best deals available.
Event Leftovers is designed for both event professionals and companies (event planners, florists, venues, party stores, rental companies, nonprofit organizations, corporate planners, etc.) and nonprofessionals (anyone who organizes a party for themselves, family or friends - from weddings to birthday parties) as well as any type of event imaginable including parties, productions, trade shows, expos, conventions and more.
It is completely FREE to register and post items. There is a small transaction fee charged to the seller when an item is sold. That’s it.
Event Leftovers proudly donates a portion from its Premium Listings to breast cancer research in honor and memory of a truly inspirational woman, Sandy Latt.
